Responsible, at the end of shift, for delivering the day's cash to the correct individual. ![]() Balances co-payments with Sansum Clinic computer system at the end of shift.Collects co-pays/deposits and documents the receipt of them in Sansum Clinic computer system.Uses Sansum Clinic computer system to verify and update patient information necessary for billing.Coordinates with hospital/surgery center to ensure timely exchange of information related to patient surgery.Gathers and obtains prior authorizations for consults, procedure and follow up from insurance companies.Completes and gathers necessary paperwork and assures accuracy of it.Provides any necessary instructions/directions to patient.Schedules all post surgery follow up appointments, according to procedure protocols.Works closely to TAVR coordinators, Sansum providers and patients to answer questions related to TAVR, Mitraclips and Watchmans.Coordinates with other surgery schedulers to ensure work up procedures (angiogram, TEE, shockwave) are scheduled in a timely manner.Schedules TAVR, Mitraclip and Watchman consults, and notifies new referrals.Books complex appointment sets for patients as related to surgery needs.Greets patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner while dealing with them expeditiously.Provides information, and follows all necessary protocols in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the organization.ĮSSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list may not include all of the responsibilities assigned.)
